VF (J) FRANCE SAS whose registered office is at 31-33 rue du Louvre CS10203- 75002 PARIS, France VAT FR 78353238520 (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Company") in co-ordination with VF International SAGL whose registered office is in Via Laveggio 5- 6855 Stabio, Switzerland (VAT CHE-111.650.898), is organizing a prize competition called “Win an Iconic Dickies Uniform” (the "Competition").

Entry into the Prize Draw is free and no purchase is necessary. 

Key points:

1. Provide all your data: Email* / Date of Birth / Gender (*Required field);

1. Sign up to the newsletter by accepting the T&C and Privacy Policy;

1. Accept the Terms & conditions of the Prize Draw;

1. Remain subscribed to the newsletter until the end of the Prize Draw on 24/04/2024.

Promotion period

The Prize Draw runs from 28/03/2024 at 10:00 (CEST) to 24/04/2024 at 23.59 (CEST) (the "Promotion Period"). 

The Promotion Company’s computer is the official clock for the Prize Draw.

Eligibility

Entry into this Prize Draw is open only to legal residents of France, UK, Netherlands and Germany who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (the “Participant/s”).

How to enter the Prize Draw

During the Promotion Period, all Participants who subscribe to the Dickies newsletter via the method outlined below, will automatically be eligible to enter the Prize Draw. 

To subscribe to the Dickies newsletter, Participants will be required to complete the registration form on Facebook or Instagram or TikTok or https://www.dickieslife.com/ by providing the requested information (e-mail, date of birth and gender). 

Participants subscribing to the Dickies newsletter to enter the Prize Draw must provide accurate and complete information when filling out the registration form.

Participants shall only be entitled to make one (1) entry into the Prize Draw. 

Multiple entries are not permitted.

Prize

There will be a total of nine (9) prizes awarded as part of the Prize Draw. 

The prize consists of a Dickies outfit (T-shirt & pants), worth £ 94 (the "Prize").

The Prize cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash. 

The Prize is not transferable to any other person and no cash or other alternative arrangements will be offered.

The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of any prize listed is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for the purpose of these Prize Draw Rules, and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. If the actual purchase price of a prize is less than the ARV stated herein, the prize winner will not be entitled to a cheque, cash or other form of payment for the price difference. 

Restrictions

Employees of the Promotion Company, and their immediate families, their agents and other people involved in the organisation and management of the Prize Draw may not enter the Prize Draw.

Entrants must remain subscribed to the newsletter until the end of the Prize Draw on 24/04/2024.

There is a limit of one (1) Prize per Participant.  

The method for awarding prizes 

By 31/05/2024 the Promotion Company will select nine (9) winners at random from all the entries that have complied with the Prize Draw Rules.

The Promotion Company will also select twenty (20) runners-up at random after the winner is selected. 

A runner-up shall only be used if a winner fails to claim the prize in accordance with these Prize Draw Rules or is disqualified from the Prize Draw for non-compliance with the Prize Draw Rules.

The selection of the winners and runners-up is final and cannot be contested unless the Promotion Company has breached the Prize Draw Rules. 

Notification to the winners

Winners of the Prize Draw will be notified of their win by e-mail (using the e-mail address provided by Participants upon registration as detailed under the heading “How to enter the Prize Draw”) within five (5) working days from the final draws (which shall take place by 31/05/2024).

Winners will have five (5) calendar days from being notified of their win to reply to the notification email accepting and selecting the Prize and providing all the information requested by the Promotion Company. 

If a potential winner:

1. cannot be contacted within five (5) calendar days of first notification attempt;
2. fails to provide the information requested;
3. the Prize is rejected by the winner;
4. the prize notification is returned as undeliverable; or
5. in the event of noncompliance with these Prize Draw Rules and requirements, 

the winner will have forfeited such Prize and it will be awarded to a runner-up.

The first runner-up with will be contacted in the same manner as described above and, if necessary, the process repeated until the Prize is finally awarded to a runner-up.

In the event that having followed the awarding process described above, the Prize cannot be given to a winner or a runner-up, the Promotion Company reserves its right not to award a Prize.

The Promotion Company reserves the right to require winners to provide a valid form of identification proving their age and identity before receiving their Prize.  Any identity verification document produced must be in the name of the person who has entered the Prize Draw.

Prizes will be delivered by the Promotion Company within 30 days of winners formally accepting their Prize in accordance with the above Prize Draw Rules. The full costs of delivery of Prizes (e.g. postage, customs and import VAT) shall be borne by the Promotion Company.

The Promotion Company shall not be liable to any winner with whom contact and/or delivery cannot be made due to: 

1. incorrect or incomplete details having been provided at registration; or 
2. the winner’s mailbox being full, blacklisted or no longer active; and/or 
3. the notification email being deemed to be spam and thus not reaching the winner's email account or being directed into the junk folder of the winner's email account.

Personal Data:

The processing of any personal data of Entrants, as necessary to enable the participation to the Prize Draw, will be carried out by the Promotion Company, in its capacity as Data Controller. Furthermore, upon prior express consent from the relevant Entrant, personal data may be processed also for profile-based marketing purposes by Promotion Company’s affiliate entity VF International Sagl, with registered offices in 5, Via Laveggio, 6855, Stabio, Switzerland, in its capacity as Data Controller. 

Consent to the processing for profile-based marketing activities is optional, and a denial will not negatively affect participation to the Prize Draw. 

Personal data will be processed in compliance with the current laws and regulations applicable to the processing of personal data, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation N. 679/2016 (GDPR) and retained for the time necessary to fulfil the data processing purposes herein described, except when longer or shorter retention periods are provided for by law.

General:

The Promotion Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this Prize Draw or these Prize Draw Rules should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorised human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its reasonable control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Prize Draw. In such case, the Promotion Company may select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by the Promotion Company. 

Upon suspension or cancellation of the Prize Draw, the Promotion Company cannot be held liable for any expenses incurred or damages suffered, whether direct, indirect, consequential or inconsequential, and the Promotion Company shall not be obliged to organise any alternative Prize Draw or offer any alternative prize. 

Multiple registrations or participation are forbidden. Any attempt by a Participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different e-mail addresses, identities, registrations or any other methods will result in the removal of the participation of the Participant, who may be excluded from this Prize Draw. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

The Promotion Company may prohibit a Participant from participating in the Prize Draw or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said Participant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Prize Draw by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices (including, but not limited to, the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Participants or Promotion Company representatives. 

The Promotion Company is not responsible for any technical problems or human error that may result in an entry not being received or being lost or damaged or for any destruction or alteration of, or unauthorised access to registrations and entries. 

The Promotion Company reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Participants (including a Participant’s identity, age, etc.) and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these Prize Draw Rules. 

Save where the Promotion Company has been negligent or in relation to the Promotion Company's fraud and to the extent permitted by law, the Promotion Company shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of the Prize Draw, as a direct or indirect result of participating in this Prize Draw and/or accepting a prize.

Acceptance of these Prize Draw Rules is a condition of entry into the Prize Draw and entry indicates full acceptance of these Prize Draw Rules.

The Prizes quoted are subject to availability and, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, or circumstances outside of the Promotion Company’s reasonable control, the Promotion Company reserves the right to amend, withdraw or substitute any part of this Prize Draw and/or Prize for an alternative arrangement of equal or greater value. The Promotion Company will communicate any such change in a timely manner to all Participants that have registered a valid email address. 

Failure by the Promotion Company to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

In the event of any discrepancy between the French and the translated versions of these Prize Draw Rules, the French version prevails

If any term of these Prize Draw Rules shall be found to be void or contrary to law, such term shall be deemed to be severable from the other terms and provisions herein, and the remainder of the Prize Draw Rules shall remain in effect.

This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram or TikTok.

These rules shall be governed by French law and the courts of Paris shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

Payment must be made in the currency as indicated on your Order before you submit it

Your Products will be supplied after your payment is cleared. If we do not receive payment in cleared funds within 30 days after the date of your Order then your Order will be cancelled. Orders paid through any other pre-payment method will be cancelled if we do not receive payment in clear funds within 1 day.

Payment by credit/debit card

If you pay by credit or debit card, you must supply your card details when you place your Order.

When you place your Order, we will contact your card issuer to request authorization to the use of your card for payment of Products. We will not accept your Order (and so we will not supply the Products to you) until your credit or debit card issuer has authorised the use of your card for payment of the Products ordered. When your credit or debit card issuer authorizes the use of your card, the necessary funds on your card are reserved until the purchase process is completed or cancelled. However, no amount is actually charged on your card until the purchase process is completed. Authorizations can remain pending 3 to 7 days even in case of cancelled orders. In such cases, no actual charges will be effected, and the funds will be eventually released. Please contact your credit/debit card issuer for more information on their specific policies regarding authorizations.

We reserve the right to verify the identity of the credit or debit card holder by requesting appropriate documentation.

We take all reasonable care to make our Site secure and to prevent frauds. All credit and debit card transactions on this Site are processed by Adyen, a secure online gateway which will be responsible for holding and automated handling in a secure environment of the information relating to your payment details. Please note that we may, at any time and at our sole discretion, restrict shipping to certain Countries or locations we believe to be at high fraud risk.

Payment by PayPal

If you pay by PayPal you will be asked to log in to your PayPal account with your email address and password to confirm the payment. If you do not have a PayPal account you can still pay with PayPal up to a maximum of 10 times and will be asked to enter personal data and credit card details.

Payment by APMs

We usually collect payment for an Order upon confirmation of the shipment of the relevant Products. However, if you prefer and select one of our alternative payment methods (APMs) entailing an upfront collection of the payment, we will collect payment upon order confirmation.

In the exceptional case the Products you ordered are not available, and you have already paid through an APM, you will be immediately notified and we will issue a full refund.

Please note:

• It is our goal to deliver within the above mentioned times, however, delivery dates are not guaranteed as shipments are handled by third parties and are subject to carriers' local bank holidays.
• We will be unable to change the delivery address on Orders after checkout.
• If there is no one at the indicated nominated delivery address who can accept delivery of Products, the carrier will leave a notification card in your mail box.
• Title to and risk of loss in your Products will pass to you when you take possession of the Products.
